The Senior Director of Sales job in Tanzania at Four Seasons offers an opportunity to lead high-level sales strategy within the luxury hospitality industry. Based in Arusha, this role oversees sales operations for Four Seasons Serengeti Safari Lodge and Four Seasons The Westcliff Hotel.
The successful candidate will drive revenue growth, increase market share, and strengthen brand positioning through strategic planning, data-driven decisions, and strong stakeholder engagement. This position plays a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences while achieving financial performance targets.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to exceed revenue and profitability targets
- Manage all sales segments and channels using effective sales strategies
- Analyze market trends and adjust sales strategies based on data insights
- Participate in forecasting processes, including catering projections
- Support the development and execution of the annual commercial plan
- Collaborate with the Commercial Director to achieve overall business goals
- Optimize revenue through pricing strategies and performance analysis
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Align sales strategies with hotel operations and overall business plans
- Create and implement account plans for assigned markets
- Conduct sales calls, site visits, and client engagement activities
- Maintain communication with Four Seasons Sales Offices globally
- Translate strategies into actionable business plans and team accountability
- Recruit, develop, and manage high-performing sales teams
- Set clear performance goals and monitor results across sales segments

Requirements
- Proven experience in senior sales leadership within the hospitality or luxury hotel industry
- Strong background in revenue management, sales strategy, and market analysis
- Excellent leadership and team management skills

- Experience in handling multiple sales segments and global markets
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
