Job Description:

Chama cha Uzazi na Malezi Bora Tanzania (UMATI) is recruiting Call Centre Agents (2 positions) to support its Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) programs in Dar es Salaam. This opportunity is ideal for candidates seeking Call Centre jobs in Tanzania, especially within the NGO and public health sector.

UMATI is a leading national NGO working in partnership with the government to deliver SRH education, gender-based violence support, and community health services. The Call Centre Agents will play a key role in providing information, counselling, and support to clients through a structured call centre system.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls from clients and provide appropriate responses
  • Manage and resolve client complaints effectively
  • Provide sexual and reproductive health (SRH) counselling and information
  • Identify and escalate complex issues to supervisors or service providers
  • Document all call details using CRM systems and standard procedures
  • Route calls to relevant departments or resources
  • Track and report trends in client inquiries and concerns
  • Prepare and share daily reports from CRM systems
  • Follow up with clients where necessary

Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Minimum Diploma in Public Health (Nursing, Clinical Management), Gender, Community Development, Social Studies, or related field
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience
  • Must be a resident of Dar es Salaam
  • Experience in telesales is an added advantage
  • Fluency in Swahili and English
