We are seeking a Customer Service Representative SAC to manage the end-to-end customer order cycle for the SSA region. You will ensure accurate order processing, smooth logistics coordination, and proactive resolution of customer issues. By building strong distributor and key account relationships, you will help drive Bayer’s growth strategy while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned customer accounts, fostering strong relationships and providing best-in-class service.
  • Manage daily operational requirements including order entry, status checks, scheduling, product returns, and delivery complaints.
  • Analyze account history and regional supply needs to optimize orders and deliveries.
  • Provide updates on orders, product availability, programs, and other relevant information.
  • Lead customer data management, including creating and maintaining accounts in P4S and P08.
  • Collaborate with Commercial, Supply Chain, and Distribution teams to influence product allocation and delivery timing.
  • Conduct customer training sessions and encourage adoption of new tools, systems, and processes.
  • Take ownership of reporting, visibility, and operational improvement projects across divisions in Africa.
  • Mentor and onboard new team members, ensuring smooth integration and system access.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field (Master’s/MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Customer Service, Commercial, Logistics, or Supply Chain, including team management.
  • Strong domain knowledge in agriculture is an advantage.
  • Key competencies: customer focus, strategic mindset, results orientation, collaboration, agility, conflict management, decision-making, communication, negotiation, and relationship management.
  • Familiarity with IT systems such as SAP ERP, Salesforce, and EDI preferred.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Portuguese or French is a plus.
