Facility Administrator Job Overview
Kafika House is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Facility Administrator to support smooth daily operations at its Arusha facility. The role focuses on facility management, procurement, financial administration, and resource coordination to support life-changing programmes for children.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong financial integrity, excellent organizational ability, and commitment to humanitarian service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage cash and in-kind donations, ensuring accurate recording, receipting, and reporting
- Oversee petty cash in line with financial policies and SOPs
- Prepare and submit vendor payment requests with complete documentation
- Lead procurement activities and manage store operations, including inventory control
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and ensure compliance with contracts
- Manage facility utilities and compliance requirements such as fire safety and waste management
- Oversee vehicle administration, including insurance, registration, maintenance, fuel cards, and logbooks
- Coordinate building and equipment maintenance, ensuring timely repairs and upkeep

Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Procurement Management, or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in procurement, store management, financial administration, or related roles
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills with high attention to detail
- Experience working with suppliers and vendor management
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical ability
- Finance and accounting background preferred
