Job Overview
TotalEnergies is hiring a Fleet and Training Supervisor in Tanzania to manage transport operations and driver training programs. This role focuses on safe product movement, compliance with regulations, and improving fleet performance.
The ideal candidate will work closely with internal teams and transport partners to strengthen safety standards, operational efficiency, and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality)
- Ensure compliance with PATROM rules, company standards, and local regulations
- Enforce safety procedures and quality control in transport operations
- Analyze accidents/incidents and implement corrective actions
- Apply fraud prevention measures during product transportation
- Support transporters in maintaining safety management systems
Fleet Management
- Conduct transport audits and follow up on action points
- Oversee vehicle inspections, including roadworthiness and loading safety
- Monitor fleet performance and reduce transport costs
- Evaluate transporter performance and implement improvements
- Manage onboarding and vetting of new trucks
- Track KPIs and carry out regular spot checks

Training and Development
- Plan and deliver driver training programs based on PATROM standards
- Ensure compliance with training requirements and medical checks
- Work with transporters to develop training materials and toolbox sessions
- Conduct compliance checks on drivers
- Promote safety awareness across teams
Additional Duties
- Verify transport invoices for accuracy
- Coordinate with transporters, clients, and depots to improve delivery flow
Qualifications and Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, or related field
Experience: At least 3 years in fleet, logistics, or petroleum sector
Core Skills
- Strong leadership and organization
- Knowledge of fleet operations, logistics, and safety regulations
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently under pressure
