AB InBev Job Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced agronomic support to commercial barley farmers using irrigated systems
- Guide farmers on effective irrigation scheduling to improve water use and crop performance
- Support best practices in fertilization, planting density, and crop protection
- Monitor crop growth and give timely recommendations for higher productivity
- Identify yield gaps and solve production challenges with practical solutions
- Ensure adherence to company standards for seed use, inputs, and crop quality
- Promote modern agronomy tools and precision farming technologies
- Manage risks related to irrigation, climate conditions, pests, and diseases
- Support sustainable farming practices and environmental management
- Collect and manage accurate farm and crop data
- Build strong relationships with farmers and stakeholders
- Prepare reports on crop progress, risks, and yield forecasts
- Train farmers through field-based technical guidance

Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Agronomy or related field
- 4β6 years of experience in agronomy, especially cereals and irrigation systems
- Strong knowledge of irrigation management and crop production
- Experience working with commercial farmers and field operations
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Clear communication skills for technical advisory support
- Ability to use digital tools for data tracking and reporting
- Good planning and organizational skills
- Teamwork and stakeholder engagement skills
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Valid driverβs license and readiness for field travel
