Job Overview: Manager at MdM Tanzania

The Finance Advisor/Manager is a key role.

You’ll basically:

• Handle all financial activities
• Make sure everything is accurate and follows the rules
• Support planning and reporting

Main Responsibilities

 1. Financial Management & Accounting

• Record transactions using accounting software (like SAGA)
• Check for errors and fix them
• Organize financial records properly

 2. Cash Flow Management

• Monitor money coming in and going out
• Make sure there’s always enough cash for operations
• Manage petty cash

3. Financial Reporting

• Prepare reports for donors and authorities
• Help create and manage budgets
• Support audits

 4. Tax Compliance

• Ensure taxes (VAT, income tax, etc.) are paid correctly
• Work with HR on tax updates

 5. Supporting Local Partners

• Train partners on financial management
• Collect and review their financial reports
