Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales and Marketing Executive – Corporate to join our dynamic team at Alliance Life Assurance Ltd. If you are passionate about sales, have experience in marketing, and enjoy building lasting relationships with clients, this role offers an exciting opportunity for growth. You will be based in Dodoma and report directly to the Sales & Marketing Manager. Your role will focus on driving sales, enhancing our brand presence, and expanding our corporate client base.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to expand our market share and exceed targets in your assigned territory.
- Identify new business opportunities through lead generation, market research, and competitor analysis.
- Build relationships with key decision-makers, clients, brokers, agencies, and financial institutions to generate new business.
- Conduct needs assessments and deliver tailored sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
- Collaborate with the underwriting team to ensure competitive, accurate proposals for clients.
- Prepare and negotiate corporate sales contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal standards.
- Provide timely and accurate sales reports to the Sales and Marketing Manager.

Marketing Responsibilities
- Partner with the team to create and implement innovative marketing campaigns that resonate with our target audience.
- Develop engaging marketing materials that highlight the benefits of our products, enhancing brand awareness.
- Leverage digital marketing channels (social media, email, SEO) to increase our online presence and reach.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to seize marketing opportunities.
- Assist in organizing and attending promotional events, exhibitions, and conferences to network and raise brand awareness.
Qualifications & Skills
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in sales and marketing within the life insurance industry or a similar field.
- Proven track record in corporate sales, especially within the financial services sector.
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and persuasive abilities to influence decision-makers.
- Deep knowledge of life insurance products, sales techniques, and customer behavior.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to quickly adapt to new software and tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills, able to adapt to changing priorities and overcome challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- A well-groomed appearance and high level of integrity and professionalism.
