Job Description

Senior Airport Services Agent Dar es Salaam; Qatar Airways is seeking a dedicated Senior Airport Services Agent to join our team in Dar es Salaam. In this role, you will be the face of the airline, ensuring passengers receive exceptional service from check-in to boarding while following commercial and safety standards. Your work will help create smooth, efficient, and memorable travel experiences for all passengers.

Airline customer service jobs Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Airport Services Agent, you will:

• Coordinate with check-in, transfer desks, and other airport areas to ensure seamless passenger handling.
• Direct arriving and departing passengers to hotel desks, visa counters, transfer desks, premium lounges, and boarding gates.
• Support Airport Services Supervisors and duty officers in handling company materials and records.
• Liaise with Ground Handling Agents (GHA) for efficient processing of hotel and transfer passengers.
• Assist passengers with entry requirements, visas, residence permits, and other travel-related inquiries.
• Ensure smooth guidance of passengers through airport facilities.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned to maintain effective airport operations.

Qualifications & Skills

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Airport Operations with a leading airline.
• Strong customer service skills with a positive, high-energy attitude.
• Knowledge of DCS systems and ticketing (advantageous).
• Ability to work flexible shifts in a high-pressure environment.
• Proficiency in Amadeus (strongly preferred).
• Fluency in English.
• Current legal rights to live and work in Tanzania.
