Job Overview
NBC Bank is hiring an experienced SME Credit Analyst to support lending operations and credit risk management. The role focuses on evaluating credit applications, supporting relationship managers, and monitoring SME portfolios to support growth while managing risk.
Key Responsibilities
Credit Analysis & Approval
- Prepare and submit credit applications
- Review and assess creditworthiness of SME clients
- Follow internal credit and provisioning policies
- Work closely with Relationship Managers on applications
- Attend client meetings to resolve credit matters

Portfolio Monitoring
- Track SME accounts and identify risks early
- Recommend actions for underperforming loans
- Review credit facilities and report exceptions
- Maintain updated financial records in Credit Lens
Documentation & Records
- Keep complete credit files for SME accounts
- Maintain accurate registers and documentation
Other Duties
- Support credit operations with assigned tasks
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field
- At least 3 years experience in credit analysis
- Strong knowledge of banking and credit risk
- Experience with Credit Lens or similar systems
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Good communication and stakeholder management
Preferred:
- ACIB qualification or equivalent
- Certification in Credit Lens
Key Skills
- Credit risk analysis and evaluation
- Knowledge of banking products and procedures
- Ability to structure lending solutions
