KCMC Nursing Officer Available Positions
1. Nursing Officer II – 10 Positions
Qualifications:
- Degree or BSc in Nursing from a recognized institution
- Registered with the Tanzania Nurses and Midwifery Council
- Valid practicing license
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide health education to patients and families
- Implement prescribed treatments and nursing procedures
- Supervise junior staff and guide nursing students
- Maintain patient records and prepare reports
- Manage hospital inventory and monitor consumables
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and care standards
- Support community health through home visits
- Use hospital information systems in daily operations

2. Assistant Nursing Officer II – 20 Positions
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution
- Registered with the Tanzania Nurses and Midwifery Council
- Valid practicing license
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver quality nursing care to patients
- Assist in patient care, rehabilitation, and ward management
- Maintain proper drug records and monitor expiry dates
- Manage inventory and report losses or damages
- Participate in ward rounds and follow medical instructions
- Support teamwork across departments
- Keep updated with modern nursing practices and research
Salary: Government Scale TGHS B

- Must be a Tanzanian citizen (age not above 45 years)
