AB InBev is looking for a qualified and motivated professional to join their team as a Brewing Operator in Mbeya, Tanzania.

Position: Brewing Operator

The Brewing Operator will be responsible for the safe operation of brewing processes, maintenance activities, quality checks, and supporting team performance to ensure production of high-quality products at optimal cost.

Mbeya, Tanzania

Key Responsibilities

Plant & Process Operations

Operate Brew House plant and brewing processes
Operate Fermentation plant and process
Operate Filtration plant and process
Optimize plant and process performance
Perform housekeeping and apply 5S principles
Identify and correct unsafe work practices
Support development of standard operating procedures

Quality Control & Analysis

Conduct quality checks and analyses
Record results in the appropriate systems
Apply problem-solving methods to resolve quality issues
Escalate unresolved issues to Team Leader

Communication

Participate in meetings and goal reviews
Record issues and improvement opportunities
Use communication tools such as shift logbooks
Ensure proper shift handover communication

Problem Solving

Respond quickly to process issues
Apply problem-solving techniques such as 5 Why Analysis and quick fix routines

Teamwork

Coach and support fellow team members
Contribute to team learning and performance improvement

Minimum Requirements

Diploma or Degree in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Food Science
Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
Problem-solving skills
Good communication skills
Ability to work shifts
