Role Overview

As General Manager, you will be the driving force behind our operations, strategy, and growth. We are looking for a Leader with a deep understanding of real estate asset value, development project management, and the operational excellence of luxury hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage overall company operations across real estate and hospitality divisions.
Manage the pre-opening phase of projects, including establishing timelines, developing budgets, and overseeing construction handover to ensure specifications and brand standards are met
Develop and execute strategic plans to drive growth and profitability.
Oversee property development, sales, and hospitality service delivery.
Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, partners, and clients.
Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
Recruit, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team.
Monitor financial performance and implement cost-effective measures.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Hospitality Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Proven experience (5+ years) in senior management within real estate, hospitality, or related industries.
Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to innovate and adapt.
Knowledge of Tanzanian real estate and hospitality markets is a strong advantage.
Fluency in English

Job Title: Head of Real Estate Department (HOD)

Role Overview

The Head of the Real Estate Department (HOD) will lead Atara’s real estate division, driving property acquisition, development, and management strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee real estate agency operations and property management services.
Conduct market analysis and identify investment opportunities.
Manage property acquisition, development oversight, and tenant relations.
Monitor projects from feasibility to completion.
Collaborate with the General Manager on expansion milestones.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Real Estate, Property and Facilities Management, or related field.
5+ years of experience in real estate management and development.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and project management skills.
Proven track record in property acquisition and ROI delivery.
Knowledge of the Tanzanian real estate market is essential
Fluency in English
