Vodacom is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Fraud Analyst (Forensic Analyst) to join its telecommunications team in Tanzania. This role focuses on fraud prevention, detection, and investigation across systems and processes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for strengthening fraud controls, identifying anomalies, and implementing proactive measures to minimize risks. Key Responsibilities:

Conduct fraud detection and prevention activities across systems and processes
Prepare and deliver fraud training programs for internal and external stakeholders
Perform Quarterly Fraud Risk Assessments (FRA) and continuous monitoring of revenue streams, including subscription fraud
Investigate fraud cases using forensic analysis based on alerts, reports, and tip-offs
Monitor and improve fraud control systems to ensure effectiveness and efficiency
Quantify and report fraud losses, prevented losses, and recoveries for management reporting
Drive Corporate Security Control Baseline (CSCB) performance to meet annual targets
Support regulatory-related fraud compliance activities
Research and implement new fraud management methodologies and controls
Contribute to the development and delivery of fraud awareness programs

Requirements / Qualifications:

Degree or Advanced Diploma in IT, Technology, or Engineering
Strong data analysis skills (e.g., SQL, PL/SQL, ACL)
Knowledge of revenue assurance methodologies
Strong analytical and forensic investigation skills
High attention to detail with ability to assess impact at both micro and macro levels
Combination of technical/engineering and financial skills
