Shamo Industries LTD is hiring 5 Accountants to join its finance team in Dar es Salaam. This opportunity is ideal for candidates searching for Accountant jobs in Tanzania, especially within the finance, taxation, and accounting industry.

The selected candidates will be responsible for managing financial records, handling statutory compliance, and supporting business decision-making through accurate financial reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review financial statements, payroll, and reports
Register employees for NSSF and prepare statutory returns (TRA, NSSF, WCF)
Maintain accurate financial records including creditors and debtors
Calculate provisional tax and assist with audits
Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing
Conduct financial analysis and support business decisions
Develop and monitor budgets and variance reports
Manage accounts receivable and payable, including aging analysis
Compute and submit tax returns in compliance with regulations
Process payments and ensure timely statutory submissions

Requirements / Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3–5 years of experience in finance and taxation
Must be 45 years or below
Proficiency in written and spoken English
Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong IT knowledge is an added advantage
Good communication and interpersonal skills
