Tanganyika Instant Coffee Co. Ltd (TANICA), a leading instant coffee producer in Tanzania since 1963, is recruiting skilled Machine Operators for its production and technical operations team.

These Machine Operator jobs in Bukoba, Kagera Region involve operating industrial machines, maintaining production efficiency, and ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards. The roles include auto electrical work, industrial electrical installation, and boiler operations within a modern manufacturing environment.

Available Positions

Machine Operators – 4 Posts
Auto Electric – 1 Post
Electrical Installation / Industrial Electrical – 2 Posts
Boiler Operations – 1 Post

Responsibilities

Inspect and clean machines before production starts
Monitor and control machine performance and settings
Conduct regular machine performance and capacity testing
Feed raw materials into production machines
Monitor output to detect defects or operational issues
Troubleshoot and fix machine faults during production
Maintain accurate records of machine performance and defects
Keep production logs and submit operational reports
Ensure compliance with Food Safety Management System (ISO 22000:2018)
Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

Form IV (Secondary Education Certificate)
Vocational training certificate (Level III/Grade I) from a recognized institution in relevant field
Experience in motor rewinding (for electrical-related roles)
Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in machine operation or industrial maintenance
Strong technical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a production/manufacturing environment
