Job Description:
Ignite Energy Access is recruiting Regional Business Executives (6 Posts) to support its business expansion across Tanzania. This is a strong opportunity for professionals seeking sales and operations jobs in Tanzania within the renewable energy industry.
The Regional Business Executive will lead and manage teams responsible for the full customer lifecycle including customer acquisition, collections, recovery, maintenance, and fulfillment. This role focuses on driving regional performance, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring high-quality customer service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Management
- Develop and implement regional acquisition strategies aligned with business targets
- Organize field activities to achieve acquisition, revenue, and quality targets
- Ensure timely and high-quality system installations at customer locations
- Train and coach teams on policies, processes, and sales techniques
- Conduct regular team meetings and mentor staff to improve performance and engagement
Stock Management & Coordination
- Provide regular inventory reports to logistics and inventory teams
- Conduct physical stock audits (monthly, quarterly, annually)
- Manage and account for all stock including new, returned, and spare parts
- Ensure compliance with asset management and HSE policies
Team & Operations Management
- Coordinate installation and maintenance technicians
- Support recruitment and training of technical teams
- Monitor installation performance and prepare reports
- Manage commissions, payroll follow-ups, and disciplinary actions
- Ensure effective repossession processes aligned with business profitability
Portfolio Monitoring
- Analyze portfolio performance and identify risks
- Manage loan repayment challenges including recovery, rescheduling, and repossession
- Conduct field visits and engage customers on repayment solutions
- Handle customer complaints and resolve complex cases
- Provide regular performance and compliance reports
Subordinates Effectiveness
- Supervise acquisition and collection agents
- Manage daily operations and address complex field challenges
- Conduct staff performance reviews and training
Other Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements / Qualifications:
Experience
- Minimum 2+ years in sales and operational management
- Experience in customer relationship management
- Experience in credit management is an added advantage
- Previous managerial experience is preferred
Education
- Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Microfinance, or related field
Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team management skills
- Excellent planning and organizational ability
- Strong communication and customer engagement skills
- Ability to work in diverse and dynamic environments
- Willingness to travel and work in any region in Tanzania
Language Requirements
- Fluency in both Swahili and English
Technology Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer/smartphone usage
