CRDB Bank Plc is recruiting a Senior Manager – Treasury Corporate Solutions to lead treasury strategy, corporate client solutions, and revenue growth within the Treasury Department. This role focuses on developing and delivering treasury products for corporate, commercial, and government clients while ensuring strong financial performance and risk control.

The position requires strong leadership in treasury sales, corporate banking, and financial markets, with a focus on client relationship management, product innovation, and strategic business growth in Tanzania’s banking sector.

Responsibilities

Treasury Strategy & Business Growth

Develop, implement, and execute treasury sales strategies aligned with the bank’s overall business goals
Contribute to the Treasury Department’s strategic planning and revenue targets
Drive revenue growth through effective pricing, product innovation, and distribution strategies

Corporate Client Management

Build and manage relationships with large corporate, commercial, and government clients
Identify and engage key decision-makers and stakeholders in strategic organizations
Deliver tailored treasury solutions based on client needs

Product Development & Sales Execution

Design and develop treasury solutions for target markets
Lead end-to-end product sales processes and support systems across channels
Prepare proposals, proformas, contracts, and treasury documentation
Identify market opportunities and competitive risks to improve product strategy

Risk Management & Compliance

Identify, assess, and mitigate operational, market, and credit risks
Ensure treasury operations comply with regulatory and internal risk policies
Maintain strong relationships with regulators and contribute to industry development

Leadership & Performance Management

Lead, mentor, and develop treasury sales teams and corporate relationship managers
Participate in management and committee meetings to support strategic decisions
Align revenue and expense budgets with business plans
Drive performance through coaching and leadership development

Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, or related field
Master’s degree is an added advantage
ACI Dealing Certificate is required

Experience

Minimum of 10 years of banking experience
At least 5 years in managing corporate clients within Treasury or corporate banking
Experience managing large portfolios and delivering treasury solutions
Strong background in risk management (market, credit, and operational risk)

Skills & Competencies

Strong leadership and team management skills
Expertise in treasury products, financial markets, and corporate banking
Strong understanding of risk management frameworks
Ability to build and maintain high-value client relationships
Strong negotiation, communication, and strategic planning skills
