CRDB Bank Plc is hiring a System Analyst to support enterprise system analysis, application development, integrations, and system stability within the CRDB Insurance environment. The role focuses on translating business requirements into functional system solutions, supporting insurance core systems, ERP platforms, and digital applications.

The System Analyst acts as a key link between business units, ICT teams, and external vendors to ensure systems meet operational, regulatory, and performance standards in the financial services and insurance sector.

Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering

Collect, analyze, and document business requirements from underwriting, claims, finance, operations, and management teams
Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, process flows, and user stories
Perform gap analysis and recommend practical system solutions
Follow change management and documentation standards

System Development & Enhancements

Implement small system enhancements, configurations, reports, and automation tasks
Support customization of core insurance systems, ERP platforms, and digital applications
Assist in data mapping, validation rules, and workflow configuration

System Integration & Support

Support API integrations between core insurance systems, finance systems, mobile apps, portals, and third-party platforms (REST/SOAP)
Monitor system interfaces and resolve integration-related issues
Collaborate with vendors on system upgrades and improvements

Testing & Quality Assurance

Develop and execute test cases including functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing
Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business users
Log, track, and resolve system defects before deployment
Ensure solutions meet business, regulatory, and compliance requirements

Application Support & Performance

Provide second-level system support and troubleshoot operational issues
Analyze recurring incidents and recommend long-term solutions
Support system performance monitoring and optimization
Maintain accurate system documentation for changes, releases, and configurations

Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Insurance, Software Engineering, or related field

Experience

2–5 years of experience in system analysis, application support, or enterprise system implementation
Experience with core systems, ERP platforms, or enterprise applications
Insurance or financial services experience is an added advantage
Experience in system development, integrations, and change management

Technical Skills

Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Knowledge of database systems and system integration principles
SQL and database querying skills
Experience with API integration (REST/SOAP)
Ability to translate business requirements into functional system specifications

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills
Strong attention to detail
Good documentation and reporting skills
