Job Summary
HR World Limited is hiring a Mining Technical Communicator to support mining operations, manage technical communication, and coordinate between service teams and equipment manufacturers. This role focuses on resolving product issues, improving service performance, and supporting mining site operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to mining service teams, contracts, and customers
- Act as liaison between internal teams and equipment manufacturers
- Visit mining sites regularly to support operations and resolve technical issues
- Prepare and share monthly product issue reports with management
- Handle unresolved technical queries and deliver solutions using system data
- Develop failure analysis reports and technical documentation
- Escalate complex issues and track progress through reporting systems
- Submit incident reports and maintain accurate issue records
- Support warranty claims and goodwill negotiations
- Monitor system entries and follow up with teams
- Provide access to technical tools and systems when needed
- Identify service improvement opportunities and support implementation
- Assist in rollout of improvement projects and track results
- Coordinate rework programs with site teams, tools, and materials
- Deliver training on reporting systems and technical practices
- Support training teams with product and system knowledge
- Participate in new product and system implementation
- Mentor junior technical staff on systems and communication processes
- Maintain compliance with safety standards and site policies
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or technical qualification in Mechanical, Automotive, or related field
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in mining service or technical support roles
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong experience with mining equipment and troubleshooting
- Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics
- Knowledge of technical systems and service platforms
- Good understanding of vehicle electrics, hydraulics, and transmission systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer systems
- Strong technical communication and team coordination skills
